Mine Accident in Randolph County

Dispatchers say there was an accident at a mine near Mill Creek on Sunday afternoon.

Randolph County Sheriff's deputies and EMS crews from Randolph and Upshur County responded to a call from Carter Roag Coal Company's Pleasant Hill Mine near Mill Creek.

The accident happened just after 3 o'clock this afternoon.

We don't know exactly happened there, or the condition of those involved, but we'll bring you more information as we receive it.
