An inscription mentioning on a mirror mentioning Jesus has been removed from Bridgeport High School. Meanwhile the Harrison County School Board still debates fighting the lawsuit.

Story by Gabe Gutierrez

The Jesus portrait lawsuit still isn't over. Last week the school board decided to take steps to have that lawsuit dismissed. But the two civil liberties groups that filed the suit have a series of demands.

At its meeting Tuesday night, the board will get its first look at that proposal.

Meanwhile, the Harrison County superintendent ordered some changes to the mirror that now hangs outside the principal's office at Bridgeport High School where the Jesus portrait once hung. The mirror was donated last week by a group of parents and students.

The inscription mentioned Jesus Christ, saying, "To know the will of God is the highest of all wisdom. The love of Jesus Christ lives within each of us."

Both the ACLU and Americans United for Separation of Church and State said that wasn't acceptable. The superintendent agreed and had it removed.
