WEIRTON -- Weirton police arrested a city resident after a week-long investigation into alleged drug activity at her Gullette Lane home.

Mendi Antigo, 38, was arrested at the Weirton Kroger on Friday.

Weirton police officers, along with the K-9 unit, found a prescription for methadose, police said.

During the investigation, methodose wafers were found with a street value of more than $2,300, police said.

Antigo is facing a charge of delivery of a controlled substance, which is a felony.

During the alleged drug sale, Antigo's 8-year-old daughter was present, police said.
