ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- James Wilkinson, of Somerton, Ohio, was found guilty on Tuesday of sexual battery on his own daughter.

An eight woman, four man panel returned the verdict in less than two hours.

Somerton sat staring straight ahead during the verdict.

The prosecution said, on the sixteenth birthday of Wilkinson's daughter, he lured her to his home by saying he was planning to buy her a Ford Mustang.

Instead, he reportedly gave her large amounts of alcohol and marijuana. The prosecution said, he then handcuffed her with zip-ties and raped her.

Wilkinson was sent directly to jail by Judge John Solovan.

Solovan ordered a pre-sentence investigation and said he plans to sentence Wilkinson before the end of the year.
