By J. Turchetta
WESTON -- We have told you all week long about the Sci-Fi channel and The Atlantic Paranormal Society, or TAPS being in Weston shooting an upcoming episode of Ghost Hunters.
Pilgrim Films, the company who produces the show allowed 12 News to talk to one of the TAPS members.
Steve Gonsalves is known to fans as the always dependable tech manager on Ghost Hunters. Gonsalves took time out to talk with us about being a Ghost Hunter and traveling the country with the show.
"We are fortunate enough that ghost hunting has essentially become our job. And it is what we do 5-6-7 days a week." Gonsalves said.
Gonsalves has been in the paranormal field for more than 10 years, but ask him if 10 years ago he thought he would be on a national television show and his answer might surprise you.
Gonsalves says, "5-10 years ago, I knew I would be hunting ghosts and doing paranormal research...I never thought in a million years I would be on a TV show."
TAPS spent its last night in the hospital Thursday night. The episode featuring the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum will air sometime in May.
