Randolph County Man Sentenced on Child Abuse Charges

Christopher Pell abused his 10-week-old son.

ELKINS -- A Randolph County judge has sentenced a man who abused his baby to up to five years in prison.

Christopher Pell, 26, pleaded guilty to charges of child abuse causing injury.

Pell's 10-week-old son went to the hospital with multiple skull fractures, bleeding, rib fractures and brain damage.

The judge also ordered Pell to pay restitution on all medical bills and pay court costs.
