Adam Davisson rode one of his horses to work on Turesday.
BRIDGEPORT -- High gas prices prompted a man in Bridgeport to trade in four wheels for four legs Tuesday.
Adam Davisson is a traffic supervisor at Abraham Linc, a flooring distribution company, located on U.S. Route 50.
Davisson raises horses and has joked with co-workers for months that he would ride one of his horses to work to avoid paying for gas.
Tuesday he actually did it, to the surprise of his office mates.
Davisson rode his four-year-old horse "Independent Cowboy" to work.
While he worked, the horse spent the day grazing out back, in the shade. Davisson commutes about seven miles to work.
He says the trip takes him a little under an hour and a half.
Davisson says if it wasn't for all the traffic on WV Rt. 131, he ride to work more often.
