This is the third time the Academy of Careers and Technology made the grade.

BECKLEY- -- It's a three-peat performance for teachers and students at a local school.
The Academy of Careers and Technology in Raleigh County has received Exemplary School Status for the third year in a row.
The school has to meet a list of requirements to achieve the status including annual academic test scores, end of course testing and job placement for students.
ACT received word of the honor last week.
The Academy of Careers and Technology is one of fourteen career and technical centers to receive exemplary status for this school year.
Seventy-five West Virginia schools, including elementary, middle and high schools, also received the honor.
