More Children's Health Coverage

West Virginia CHIP Program expanding

West Virginia --  The West Virginia Children's Health Insurance Program is expanding its health coverage the upper income limit for participation to 250% of the federal poverty level.

That plan goes into effect Thursday.

The West Virginia Children's Health Insurance Program will now accept applications for eligibility at the new income levels.

Children who currently have other individual or group health coverage are not eligible to participate in the plan.
