Pharmacy will serve local community while providing needed training to U of C pharmacy students.
CHARLESTON -- The results of a unique partnership will be on display Friday on the campus of the University of Charleston.
The school has partnered with Wal-Mart to open a new on-campus pharmacy, intended to serve the health needs of both the campus and the surrounding community.
In addition, both the university and Wal-Mart hope to train pharmacy students in a practical environment, giving them the skills they need to one day go serve other hometown communities.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour are scheduled for noon today.
The pharmacy’s hours of operations will be Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. |
