ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OH -- Eugene Blake, already convicted of multiple murders in West Virginia, will be arraigned before Judge John Solovan tomorrow at 2:30.

Blake arrived at the Belmont County Justice Center Wednesday night after six.

A Belmont County Sheriff's cruiser with two officers brought Blake back from Fayette County, WV. to Belmont County.

Eugene Blake, 63, was in prison for murder in West Virginia.

And he apparently was trying to stay in the Mount Olive Correctional Complex, by claiming he had no memory of where he was the night Mark Withers of Bridgeport was killed.

But after a competency evaluation ordered by the court, the psychiatrist determined that Blake was malingering--faking it.

The doctor said Blake was uncooperative, even giving a fake name.

In the end, the doctor said Blake has Intermittent Explosive Disorder and Anti-Social Personality traits.

But he said he is not insane; he is capable of standing trial.

Blake went before Judge John Hatcher of Fayette County, and was ordered to be taken to Belmont County immediately afterward.

Blake was placed in the Belmont County Sheriff's Department cruiser, taken back to Mount Olive briefly to get his belongings, and arrived at the Belmont County Jail around 6:15 tonight.

A 7 news camera was rolling when Blake arrived.
