Woman Accused of Burning "Wimp" on Daughter Scheduled for Court

Tammy Smith is slated to appear before a judge at 10:30 this morning.

MOUNDSVILLE -- The Marshall County mother accused of burning the word wimp into her child's neck is scheduled for another court appearance.

Tammy Smith is slated to appear before a judge in Marshall County this morning.

She was indicted by a Grand Jury last month on 20 counts involving child abuse and malicious wounding.

Right now, her daughter, the alleged victim, remains in protective custody.

For now Smith remains free on bond.
