Four people were arrested Tuesday morning after chaining themselves to the doors of the state Department of Environmental Protection offices in Charleston.
About 40 protesters held signs and even played music to show their objection to leadership at the DEP.
They say they particularly object to the agencies enforcement of mountain top removal regulations.
DEP Spokesperson Kathy Cosco said the protesters have every right to express their opinions and concerns, but noted that Tuesday's display created a safety hazard for employees.
