PHILIPPI -- A Barbour County organization is raising money for a new athletic complex for Phillip Barbour High School.

The Phillip Barbour High School Foundation has raised about $13,000 so far, but says it needs $3 to 5 million.

The foundation says the current stadium has been there since the school was built in 1963 and that it needs everything from new bleachers, a new field house, and a paved track, to a soccer field and tennis courts.

It says the upgrades will bring the high school athletic complex to the standards of surrounding counties.
