HUNTINGTON -- A well-known group of children from Africa entertained hundreds in Huntington Sunday.
The African Children's Choir made a stop at the River Cities Community church to perform some traditional African songs and dances.
The group is comprised of orphans who travel all over the world to share their story, and bring awareness to the hardships some are forced to endure.
"It's exciting to encounter people from other parts of the world, especially children. Children from terrible circumstances, orphaned at young ages- just to see the joy in their lives that Christ brings," said Pastor Larry Greene with River Cities Community Church.
The African Children's Choir has performed on Good Morning America, American Idol and The Tonight Show.
The group has been reaching out to orphaned and under-privileged children for 25 years.
