HUNTINGTON -- Childcare providers across the state are being honored one flower at a time.

The West Virginia Kids Count Fund is sponsoring a statewide "Take a Flower to Childcare Day" through its Kids First communities campaign.

Wednesday, children will simply present their childcare provider with a flower. The goal is to raise awareness about the important role high quality childcare plays in the healthy development of young kids.
