WALLACE -- A Wallace-area man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on state Route 20 Sunday, Oct. 25.

Deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff's Department said Steven Delbert Frame Jr., 29, of Wallace, died on scene after flipping his Dodge Durango

The accident happened on Route 20 North in Wallace between the Log Cabin Restaurant and the Wallace Volunteer Fire Dept.

Deputies said Frame lost control of the vehicle, hit a large rock, flipped the vehicle and was ejected.

They also believe speed was a factor.

Harrison County Sheriff's Department, Wallace Fire Department and Harrison County EMS all responded to the scene.

The Sheriff's department is investigating but investigators said they do not suspect foul play.

Maybe it was the road! He probably bounced off of it trying to stay on his side of it. The road is so bad the DOH put "rough road" signs with cute little flags from Wallace to the Wetzel County line. What a way to fix a problem. Now compound that problem with the snowfall we will receive this winter. The DOH does not know that Route 20 or Gregory Run Road exist when it snows. Maybe they're afraid they will get hung up if they try to come out that far.
