The U.S. Senator added that despite the shortage, he didn't feel his state was being slighted in getting them.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The H1N1 Flu vaccine is in high demand all across the nation.

Some areas are not getting enough vaccines to meet the needs of all who want it.

U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, said his state isn't being slighted from getting them, but they do need more right away.

"We are slated to get seven million of them, but they're not there yet. We're asking for hundreds of thousands more right away to get them in the Ohio Valley and all over the state," Brown said.

Brown added that part of the problem behind the shortage is that the company who manufactures the vaccine hasn't been fast enough in producing it.
