MORGANTOWN -- A teenager charged with first-degree sexual assault on West Virginia University's campus, may face further charges, police said.

Ethan Kyle Dye, 18, of Parkersburg, walked into an unlocked dorm room in Lyon Tower and fondled the woman sleeping inside, police said.

At least two other students have contacted police about similar incidents and the investigation is on-going, according to police.

Dye is listed as an exercise physiology major on the WVU online student directory.

He lived in Lyon Tower, according to the directory listing.

"In cases like this where allegations involve a threat to the residence hall community, the student is removed pending the outcome of a residence hall hearing," said Dan Kim, director of WVU News and Information Services. "At WVU our primary concern is the safety of students."

He was released from jail on bond.

Lyon Tower is one of the four tower dormitories on the Evansdale campus.
