The car ended up on its top.
CLARKSBURG -- An elderly couple from Pennsylvania was injured Thursday morning in an accident on Interstate 79, in Harrison County.
The accident happened just after 10 a.m. at mile marker 114, in the southbound lanes.
The couple was in a Toyota Avalon sedan.
The driver lost control, ran off the side of the road and flipped onto its top, sheriff's deputies said.
The couple were taken to the hospital.
There is no word on their conditions.
Heavy rain was reported at the time.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident. |
