As of right now, Charleston city employees will need to use a vacation day if they want to be off on Christmas Eve.
CHARLESTON -- Christmas Eve, will be a regular business day for Charleston's city employees.
The workers will not be given a paid holiday for Dec. 24.
Recently, Governor Joe Manchin declared Christmas Eve a holiday for state workers, and the Kanawha County Commission is considering the idea.
