Power Outages Reported Throughout Region

Hundreds of AEP customers woke up in the dark Wednesday

CHARLESTON -- Appalachian Power is reporting widespread power outages throughout the area.

The following counties are being affected by overnight weather conditions. Kanawha, Putnam, Wayne, Logan, Mingo, Mason, Boone and Fayette.

My electric is back on!!!!! Thank you AEP employees for working in adverse conditions to keep us warm and comfy...thought it was going to be a "Three Dog Night" for sure.....
