MORGANTOWN -- WCLG-FM along with Christian Help had their Holiday Toy and Food Distribution at the Morgantown Armory.
It was the first day of the distribution and over 75 volunteers unloaded toys and nearly 30 tons of food.
The United way says the combination of food and toys makes both children and families happy this holiday season.
"We want to make sure all the children have toys that they need, we want to make sure families have good stuff for their family meals," said Brandi Protock of United Way.
The United Way estimates the distribution prepared 1,300 bags of perishable food items.
Much of the food distributed today came from the WCLG food drive this past weekend.
