There will be a sobriety checkpoint held in Charleston this week.

According to a news release from the Charleston Police Department, there will be a sobriety checkpoint on Thursday, Feb. 4 on lee Street between Washington Street and Delaware Avenue. The checkpoint will begin at 5 p.m. and end at approximately midnight.
The Charleston Police Department in conjunction with the Governor's Office of Highway Safety is continuing the "Checkpoint Strikeforce" mobilization to enforce the State's impaired driving laws.
