TAMS --  Burning Rock ATV Park is continuing to expand through the winter months.

The outdoor park isn’t settling with campgrounds, ATV trails, and cabins. Instead they’re building more cabins, and planning to unveil a new high-flying feature attraction.

A tandem race zip-line is in the planning process. Visitors will be able to compete against others to race to the bottom. The line will stretch 2,400 feet, and drop roughly 300 feet. It estimated that the line will be able to reach speeds upwards of 50 mph.

Jerry Green, a worker at Burning Rock, says a lot of people are excited about the new attraction.

“It’s been a long winter but the phones are ringing off the hook for people to come in April, and March,” said Green.

The zip-line is expected to open sometime in June. An official grand-opening will be held on the 4th of July. They’ll also be introducing new ATV's, and UTV's, a group of vehicles that can hold several people and take them on tours of the area.
