Michelle did talk to the author and NO she did not agree to the book but pleaded with him not to write it and NO she is not making anything on ANY publication. She was wrongly convicted but is not intitled to make any money either. I would like to talk more with Preston to get more of his views. There is a lot more to this case than meets the eye and the truth will come out that she is INNOCENT!!!!

I think Preston is Michelle! A lot of these women's prisons are not all that tied down and strict. Look at Martha Stewart.... She could be on the computer at times during the day. I know a fed ex driver that delivered a tv and xbox to a man in prison. He got his income tax check back and ordered this stuff online. Preston, I'm still leaning toward the possibility that you did it...I've never known a "supporter" to defend someone in as much detail. It's almost as if you are not mentally stable,you have stalked her for years, maybe even worked with her and when you figured out she wasn't leaving her husband, you decided to get her attention by getting him out of the way. Am I close? You are seriously making people wonder...If that is not the scenario, then did she hire you to do it? Is that how you can be so sure?

well to be exact she in appealing her conviction, which I am almost certain will be overturned. these twelve people should be ashamed of themselves for sending an innocent woman to prison...how can anyone say she is guilty did you see her through the window perhaps injecting him or setting the room on fire...I think not all she was convicted on was speculation and hearsay. She may have lied and cheated....but just because she cheated doesn't make her a killer.....hell people have been cheating for years yet are not killers.

Every one is entitled to their opinion, and the fact of the matter is that twelve people, whose opinion counted when it mattered, found her guilty. Believe what you want, she was found guilty and should pay the price for what she did.

In my opinion, if she truly was not guilty, then why is she smiling in her mug shot (shown above) at the prison? Sorry but that look she is giving, to me, does not look like she is very mentally stable. And she was a nurse? That's even scarier.....

to me....that is correct I have never met her and i was not in the courtroom..all I know is what I have read in online research. The book on the other hand...i have not read...but it says the writer interviewed her so I think she may have taken it as a opportunity to share her side. And yes, no matter what anyone's opinion is it really does not matter the only opinion that matters right now is the appellate court. Sometimes people just have to agree to disagree.

Preston - didn't you say in an earlier post that you can't wait to meet her? So you've never met her either. Unless you were in that Courtroom, you do not know what was said or shown from either side.

Another sign she's guilty? Why would you want a book written about YOU murdering your husband? If it were me and I was the one wrongly convicted, I would be appalled at the thought that someone wanted to make money off of my husband's murder. Just saying....

I believe she is an innocent woman, I do not care how much anyone attacks me. I will continue to voice my opinions on how I think she was wrongfully convicted. I am told to do my research believe me I have there are many sites where flaws are pointed out in her defense. She should have gotten off, an opinion shared by many people in Morgantown the day she was convicted. By the way as I write this response I wonder how so many people can judge Michelle when most people probably never have even met her before. I sit back and pray to God that justice will be served for her and she will be released. I can't stand the thought of an innocent person sitting behind bars.

Okay first off, the jurors were not idiots....have you ever served on a jury? Trust me, idiots cannot serve on juries. Second, her lawyer was not an idiot, I know who it was and BTW he is ranked the best criminal defense attorney in Morgantown. The sad part of it is, when you're guilty, you're guilty. Jesus can't even save you there. Third, it is a FICTION BOOK BASED ON TRUE EVENTS YOU IDIOTS!!! You cannot believe everything it says. Only parts of it are true, the author met with the Monster so anything in there is what SHE SAYS happened, it does not mean it's all true.

Preston - you're really worrying me, how do you know she is innocent, did you really do it? She is not innocent...and it was more than a couple lies - take for instance the fact that she was intimate with a married man with her child sleeping in the other room. Yeah, GOOD people do NOT do that....Don't believe me? Research a juror's journal of the trial, you'll find exactly what I'm talking about. You were not in that courtroom, you did not experience the lack of emotion or remorse. Do not stick up for the monster unless you want to be attacked along with her. And her attorney did NOT tell her to not show emotion. DUH!!!

The best decision the jury made was life with mercy, because as one juror said, it's more misery when you THINK you will see the outside again....Life is definitly unfair, knowing she is still breathing while that man suffered, worse than anyone alive can imagine, may his family be strong and my prayers are with you.

I read the book, and was surprised by the fact her (x sister-in-law) old boss suggested the check for the paralytic drug, her ex, his ex had a relationship, what a tangled web. The most surprising was that her ex lawyer (prob the reason shes where she is) said he represented a crime boss? Who might that have been, & he represented hundreds of murderers? R U kidding me? I'd like to see that list. The Morgantown lawyer, had me impressed what a shame he was let go there is a skilled attorney. People are wrongfully convicted all the time we'll see how this transpires

I am embarrassed of the errors in my last post, computer issues. The only reason she is in prison, is because of the jury. Her lawyer presented her cases in an unflattering way, by telling her to show no emotion. She will be proven innocent. Then I will be able to tell you all I TOLD YOU SO.

I have a good friend @ Lakin Correction & it's she says it's like being on a long vacation,she gets to train Dogs & even keeps them with her in her Dorm yeah Dorm not a cell.they even have Diningrooms instead of chow halls. Michelle's no doubt living it up...what kinda punishment is that?

Well I of course have no idea if she really was guilty or not, but I bought the book yesterday and it's really good. It puts aspects of each others life into perspective, like how truly messed up there relationship was and their previous relationships. No surprise to me that she more-than-likely is guilty.

1. The police gave a falsified statement of the ex-wife having an alibi. Apparently, he was using the act of being married and having a new life as an alibi itself. He lied and said that the New Husband gave the ex-wife an alibi, only after he got caught, and after issuing many previous statements in which the new husband as an alibi was never mentioned.

2. The cop further went to to give another false alibi statement to cover up for the ex'wife's lack of an aliby. He stated that the act of havnig an infact in the premises in itself was an alibi. Those of us who are parents know that once you feed your baby, burp him and put him to sleep. It would be another couple of hours before that baby would start crying again. Apparently.

3. The phone call. The police had received a phone call from an anonymous third party telling them of the medication that was used to drug the husband. Af of the mid 90's we have had the technology readily availabe to law enforcement to tract all phone calls including those from pre-paid cell phones, and to use signal triangulation to even poinpoint which intersection the call came in from. The fact that the phone call was withheld from the judge and the jury, in itself is a red flag. It points that the police were actually active in covering up a murder just to blame that easiest target, because Michelle was not very well liked.

3. The car: The gps in the car would have recorded the exact route that the car took. This technology has been available since the early 90's. The police was taking advantage that the general public did not have access to this information hoping to get the general public against the suspect Michelle. Basically, I believe that this was done in order to taint the general public and, subsequently the jury pool before the trial even began. Saying that the car took off in a general direction was what used to be used in criminal cases back in the late 80's, but it stopped in the 90's.

4. Yes, michelle did lie a bunch of times, but there were basically only two lies, (1) she lied that she left to take care of an errand becasue she did not want to get into trouble with her job, (2), she lied of the affair that she had.

I'm not taking sides here, except that to say that in NYC we have one of the countries best forensice (CSI) scientists and I learned from him, he is one of the best.

She has every right to tell HER story. If she profits from it....good for her. I feel she should not have been sent to prison, the jury that day must have been made up of complete idots. She is innocent and this will be proven one day..BY THE WAY I am not related to Michelle nor have I even met her....I just followed the story....dominion post, television specials..ect. there is alot of support for Michelle.........there use to be a website something like justice for michelle....check it out...

I think it is horrible that she is probably getting a cut off of the book deal....so she is making money while in prison for killing her husband...Also the rumor is that she appealed her conviction and won so she is suppose to get a new trial...Which really sucks..., because she did it, she knows she did it no live with it..instead of wasting our taxpayers money for a new trial.

Jim was a friendly nice outgoing guy who never met a stranger . I have spoken with some of his co-workers and they all agreed . I feel life with is to easy for her , since WV does not have the death penalty at least she should get life without it was all permeditated on her part........
