Lauren, a word of advice.....don't give up your day job. Just another Taylor Swift wannabe...with less talent. Have fun on the county fair circuit.

I was fortunate to be in Nashville when Lauren was getting ready to perform one day. I actually met her because I complimented her on her shoes. She had on these high heels that sparkled like they had tiny diamonds all over them. We talked for a few minutes and she thanked me for the compliment and told me how a friend of hers had custom made those shoes for her. What a great personality I thought as she went into detail about those shoes when she could have just as easily just said thanks and left it at that. After I went over and sat down I was thinking about this strikingly beautiful girl with those awesome shoes and the rest of her outfit that looked as if she may have just come from a photo shoot for some modeling agency. That being said it will take more than a great look and personality to stand out here in music city where people come from all over the world to pursue their dream of becoming a recording artist. When Lauren started singing I realized that those shoes weren't the only thing that sparkled on the stage that day...Lauren Winans...get ready, here she comes...
