Activities and achievements: Andrew is a member of his school's varsity football team and runs track, taking honors at the West Virginia State Track Meet. He's a member of student council, and he coaches physically disabled children in the Challenger Baseball League. After struggling with his family to overcome the deaths of two siblings and, in his freshman year, his mother to cancer, Andrew has been increasingly involved with his church, becoming a junior leader in the Young Life Christian outreach organization.

Plans: Andrew plans to attend West Virginia University to study chemical engineering and then pursue a graduate degree at the University of Notre Dame.
