Activities and achievements: Brittany has become very involved in the local and state chapters of Health Students of America, an organization that prepares students for careers in health care. She serves as president of her school's chapter and went through a rigorous testing and application process to be chosen as vice president for the state chapter. With that group, she has traveled to national competitions and leadership academies in California and Washington, D.C. Brittany also is a class officer and on student council. She runs track and cross-country and works part-time as a waitress. 

Plans: Brittany plans to attend a four-year college or university and take pre-pharmacy courses before getting a graduate degree to become a pharmacist.
