Activities and achievements: Kennedy is a member of her school's band and participates in several clubs and academic contests, including math field day events. She was selected as an alternative representative for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership program. 

Plans: Kennedy plans to attend Shepherd University for her freshman year of college and then transfer her credits to West Virginia University to complete an undergraduate degree in engineering. She then hopes to be accepted into a doctoral engineering program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
