Activities and achievements: Spencer is a multi-tasker, serving as a captain of his school's football team, president of his senior class, president of the Spirit Club and a student council representative. He was named the Tucker County Chamber of Commerce's Student of the Year and won a silver medal in a national entrepreneurship competition sponsored by the Family and Community Career Leaders of America. He also works part-time at Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center. 

Plans: Spencer wants to attend a four-year university and eventually get a master's degree in education, with a focus on chemistry and math. He hopes to teach in the public school system and coach football.
