Activities and achievements: Austin serves as treasurer of Tolsia's chapter of the Beta Club and as a class representative on student council. He belongs to the National Honor Society, the math honor society and the art club. He has played football, basketball and baseball in Wayne County, and he volunteered for the Crum Area Football League, the Crum Middle School girls' basketball team and the Special Olympics. Austin also works at a part-time job pouring blacktop for Tolsia Enterprises. 

Plans: Austin is working to get the PROMISE scholarship, which he hopes to use toward an undergraduate degree at Marshall University. He wants to study civil engineering.
