While she participates in several activities, Mari spends much of her time announcing high school soccer and basketball games for local broadcasts. 

Plans: Mari plans to keep her momentum going as a sports broadcaster by majoring in journalism and mass communications at West Virginia University, with a focus on television broadcasting.
