Activities and achievements: Jacob's extensive work over the past three years with the Doddridge County Future Farmers of America program culminated this year in his selection as president of the organization. He volunteers with his church's youth group and, through the leadership program at his high school, helped organize a benefit dinner for a school staff member battling cancer. A four-year member of the football team, Jacob has lettered in the sport each year and is now team captain. 

Plans: Jacob wants to pass along what he's learned growing up on a farm and being involved in FFA by entering the teaching field. He plans to major in agricultural education at either Potomac State College or West Virginia University. He plans to remain active in Doddridge County FFA and to apply for and receive the state and American FFA degrees after graduation.
