Activities and achievements: Ashley has been involved in the West Virginia STARS program, which provides training to teachers and caregivers of young children. She also serves as an after-school tutor, has volunteered at local shelters and for Relay for Life and is active in her school's pep club. She also has a part-time job at the Ritchie County Fitness Center.  

Plans: Ashley wants to continue working her part-time job at the fitness center while she studies elementary education at West Virginia University at Parkersburg. She hopes to become a classroom teacher.
