Activities and achievements: An accomplished dancer, Sarah is president of her school's Key Club, secretary of the Hispanic Honor Society and a member of Hi-Y, the National Honor Society and the art and science honor societies. She recently received the Alta Selby Memorial Youth Volunteer Award for her efforts in the community, which include organizing food pantry and construction projects for the Rescue Mission and participating in Relay for Life, American Red Cross blood drives and special events for the Boys and Girls Club. She has been active in the Girls Scouts and was selected to participate in her county's Business Education Partnership Leadership Program. 

Plans: Sarah plans to study medical laboratory science at West Virginia University and eventually earn a master's degree in the health sciences. She wants to work in the field of pathology.
