Activities and achievements: With a busy role as section editor for her high school newspaper, Amber also is active in several arts programs. She is in theatre productions, sings in the madrigal choir and has been in the poetry, scriptwriting, creative writing and stagecraft clubs. She's a volleyball player and also volunteered for organizations including Friends of Decker's Creek, Carelink, Locks of Love and Food for Preston. 

Plans: Amber hopes to take part in the new theater education program at West Liberty University. She is considering a double major in theater and newspaper journalism. She wants eventually to teach in a secondary school and direct student theater productions.
