Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday, but it's more than food and football and a parade, Thanksgiving is about family.

In West Virginia, we know the value and the meaning of family. It's not like that everywhere.

Our state has plenty to overcome, but this is one thing we get right.  We know that breaking bread with the people that we love and love us is so important.

When we gather around a table, heads bowed to say grace, we get to put the trouble of the world behind us and enjoy time with those who truly matter.
