PARKERSBURG -
Seven members of the West Virginia University at Parkersburg faculty have been awarded promotions in rank while three others have been awarded tenure, effective from the fall 2011 semester.
The faculty members who were promoted from instructor to assistant professor were Zach Orchutt (art), Stacey Watkins and Rebecca Duckworth (both nursing), John Altman (accounting), Stephen Smith (accounting), Sandra Kolankiewicz (English) and Melissa Spivy (education).
Lisa Flowers-Clements, assistant professor and coordinator of developmental education, was awarded tenure, along with Nancy Dew, assistant professor of biology, and Rob Anderson, assistant professor of history.
