Valley Hospice recently awarded the 2011 Dove Award to Beth Ann Williams of Steubenville.
Williams, who serves as scheduling coordinator for Valley Hospice, has worked as a licensed practical nurse for the past 30 years.
Williams also is a certified hospice and palliative care nurse. She has been an employee of Valley Hospice for the past six years.
Williams, a graduate of Steubenville High School and the former Jefferson Technical College, was inspired to become a hospice nurse when her grandmother was dying of cancer and was cared for at home by a Valley Hospice nurse.
