BECKLEY -
Carla Sarver has joined the faculty of New River Community and Technical College as a visiting clinical track instructor for the School of Practical Nursing.
Sarver most recently was employed as an emergency room nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. She has more than 10 years' experience in Level 1 trauma, ICU and emergency services nursing.
She earned her associate degree in nursing from the University of Charleston and has a special interest in pediatric nursing.
Sarver will be based at New River's Nicholas County campus in Summersville, where the School of Practical Nursing is headquartered. The nursing program has cohorts in Clay and Pocahontas counties and also offers classes in Lewisburg and Beckley.
