MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — The owner of two paraphernalia shops called "Hot Stuff and Cool Things" and three of his employees have been indicted on federal charges of selling bath salts and synthetic marijuana.

The indictment issued April 18 in Clarksburg targets owner Jeffrey Paglia and his two companies, Jemrose Inc. and Pag-Corp Inc.

It also names Jemrose manager John Skruck and two employees of the Buckhannon and Clarksburg stores, Jeremia Phillips and Derrick Calip.

Phone listings for each were either unavailable or disconnected.

The indictment charges each with eight counts of drug conspiracy and two counts of maintaining a drug-involved property for sales during September and January.

Paglia and Jemrose Inc. also are each charged with structuring monetary transactions to evade reporting requirements.

Prosecutors say those transactions totaled nearly $750,000 in 12 months.
