Its a meeting that's held every two years, and on Saturday night some of the highest dignitaries in the Democratic Party attended in downtown Wheeling.

The Jefferson Jackson Dinner hosted Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, Attorney General Darrell McGraw and Secretary of State Natalie Tennant. The evening's honoree was U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va.

The dinner also served as a chance for party members to get organized for the upcoming election in November.
