Bomb threat causes evacuation of Wirt County High School

According to Wirt County 911, a bomb threat was received by Wirt County High School this morning around 10:38 a.m.

The school has been evacuated and there are no reported injuries.

According to a secretary at the Wirt County Board of Education, other schools in the county are on lock down.

Police are investigating and the school is still an active scene.

Wirt County Sheriff's deputies and the W.Va. State Police Dept. are investigating. 

A canine unit from Morgantown is searching the school for bombs and police plan to have the building cleared by the end of the day.
