WHEELING (AP) —
Ohio Valley Health Services & Education Corp. and a former CEO have
settled a breach of contract lawsuit.
Brian Felici's lawsuit claimed the hospital corporation reneged on a promise to pay him after he was asked to resign in 2010.
Felici's attorney, David Jividen, tells The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register that the settlement amount is confidential. He says the hospital's counterclaim was dismissed.
Ohio
Valley spokeswoman Laurie Labishak says the lawsuit was settled to all
parties' satisfaction. She says the hospital has no further comment.
Jividen says Felici received the final payment from Ohio Valley in January.
Felici now is chief executive officer at Wetzel County Hospital.
