Saint Albans man gets 21 month prison sentence for dealing heroin

Posted: Updated:

A Saint Albans resident has been sentenced to 21 months in federal prison for selling heroin.

U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin said Leonard Lewis Hare, 39, admitted in November he'd sold eight heroin "stamps" weighing about .06 grams each to an informant who'd come to his home at the Carriage Hill Apartments in Saint Albans.

The Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Network Team conducted the investigation. U.S. Attorney, Joshua Hanks handled the prosecution. The sentence was imposed by U.S. District Judge John T. Copenhaver Jr.
